Ralph L. Putney's Obituary
Ralph L. Putney, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at Blair Manor. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Lewis and Annie (Morenger) Putney. Ralph worked as an automotive technician and service manager for Balch Motors, Inc. He was also a member of the Stafford Senior Center, and a fan of the Boston Red Sox. Ralph is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Anna (Simons) Putney; two children, Ralph L. Putney, Jr. and his wife Mary, and Cheryl Toney and her husband Russell; two granddaughters, Jennifer Harvey and her husband Jim, and Melanie Silliker and her husband Fred; and three great grandchildren, Hunter, Olivia, and Logan. He was predeceased by his daughter, Darlene Putney. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the doctors and nurses at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Evergreen Health Care Center, and Blair Manor for their care and compassion over the past few months. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
