Raymond Duquette's Obituary
Raymond G. Duquette, 64, of Lucerne Dr., Willington, CT, died Wednesday, July 19, 2006 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Berlin, NH, son of the late Henri and Irene (Dubois) Duquette. Ray was a veteran of the U.S. Navy serving from July 28, 1960 to July 27, 1964. He retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as an engineer. Ray was a member of St. Jude Parish, coordinator of the archery event for the Connecticut Senior Nutmeg State Games, member of the Hartford Civil War Round Table, the Italian American Club of Rockville, the U.S.S. Compton Association, and the Tin Can Sailors Association. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Jacqueline M. Duquette of Willington, CT; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Vicki Matthew of Stafford Springs, CT, Kimberly and Steven Michaud of Ellington, CT, Michelle Duquette of Willington, CT, and Nicole and Paul Markert of Georgia; six grandchildren, Chelsey, Rachel, Ryan, Kaitlyn, Megan, and Carson; a brother, Donald Duquette of Berlin, NH; a sister, Ruth Ann Guay of Arizona; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a son-in-law, Daniel Matthew. A funeral will be held on Wednesday, July 26, 2006, with a procession forming at 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Jude Church, Old Farms Rd., Willington, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
