Raymond G. Kuehl's Obituary
Raymond G. Kuehl, 88, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away on Sunday, May 10, 2026 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Stafford, son of the late Raymond M. and Faye (Heck) Kuehl. Ray was a devout member of St. Edward Church, where he served many years as a lector, and he also worked as the sexton of St. Edward Cemetery for many years. He was also a member of the Rev. Felix J. O’Neil Knights of Columbus Council 1395 and the St. Clare Fraternity Secular Franciscans. He greatly enjoyed being outdoors kayaking, and playing his guitar at the Tolland Senior Center. Ray is survived by his children, Karen Kibbe and her husband Art, Richard Kuehl and his wife Jacqueline, Lisa Lavarello and her husband Curt, and Raymond Kuehl II and his wife Colleen; 13 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; a great-great granddaughter; brother, Robert Kuehl; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his loving wife of 67 years on February 1, 2026, Virginia L. “Ginny” Kuehl; and their son, Steven Kuehl. Calling hours will be on Friday, May 15, 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. His funeral will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, with a procession forming at the funeral home at 10:00 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow the Mass at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
