Raymond R. Leffingwell's Obituary
Raymond R. Leffingwell, 68, of Union, CT, passed away on Thursday, September 15, 2016 at Manchester Memorial Hospital. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of Robert and Eleanor (Roberts) Leffingwell. Ray worked as a machinist until retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and building and flying R/C planes. Besides his parents, Ray is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Colleen (Lanagan) Leffingwell; three daughters and sons-in-law, Michele and Richard Ott, Jennifer and Michael Bessette, and Kelly and Michael Sargenti; seven grandchildren, Alex, Olivia, Alison, Isabelle, Mikayla, Aiden, and Ashlyn; brother, William Leffingwell and his wife Marguerite; sister, Fawn Sevcik and her husband John; mother-in-law, June Lanagan; brother-in-law, Richard Lanagan and his wife Deb; sister-in-law, Deb Perko and her husband Joe; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. His funeral service will be held on Monday, September 19, 2016 at 11 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will take place privately. Calling hours are on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 1-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
