Raymond E. Roy's Obituary
Raymond E. Roy, 103, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Stafford, son of the late Henry and Minnie (Biladeau) Roy. Ray served our country during World War II in the United States Army. He was a hard worker, having been employed at Kaman Aircraft as a CAD Plater for many years. He was also a member of St. Edward Church in Stafford. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 76 years, Shirley E. (Buckmister) Roy; three children, Linda, Raymond C., and Robin Roy; grandson, Joshua Roy; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his four siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Military honors will take place following the Mass. Burial in Grove Hill Cemetery, Rockville, CT will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s favorite charity.
