Sorry to hear the passing of Ray. Always a guy to go to in the Guard to help me when I needed it. Good guy, always would stop to chat even when he was busy. Eric his son replaced a roof on our home in Bolton many years ago. Ray taught him well. Because of the snow storm I'm not able to make the wake tonight. Gerry Wright 1sgt. retired, 242nd combat Engr. We will miss you Raymond. You were frequently unpredictable growing up and doing the unexpected. You were charming, full of life, and laid back always looking at the bright side of life. Although you left us unexpectedly and much too soon, God must have needed you now and we know you are in heaven looking down at us. We were blessed to have you as part of our family. You will always be a part of our life.

Raymond was a quiet soul, a deep thinker, who was always listening, willing to help, dependable and loving in his own quiet way. He was a family man who truly loved his family. Our annual visits were so memorable to us - filled with fun, laughter, good food and love. No one could tell a story the way Raymond did - all heart and soul. I will miss you dear brother with all my heart. Mary Lou
Ray was a very thoughtful, loving, generous individual, who always thought of others before himself. He always seemed happy and cheerful. He will be greatly missed. We all love him and will always hold a special place in our hearts for him, living his memories always through what he has done for his family, and friends. God be with you and your family Ray. You live on always and forever in our minds, hearts, and thoughts.
