Raymond T. Wytas' Obituary
Raymond T. “Skinner” Wytas, 90, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at his home. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT on August 31, 1925, son of the late John and Lillian (Kancylar) Wytas. Ray served our country in the United States Army 397th Infantry Regiment during World War II. He worked as a cement finisher for Conyers Construction Company. Ray was also a member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craft workers. His lifelong passion was fishing. Ray leaves his wife of 68 years, Helen (Zajac) Wytas; two daughters, Linda and her husband Louis Maslon of Monson, MA, and Judie and her husband Abdi Nowzari of Stafford Springs, CT; three grandchildren, Christopher, Amy and Andre; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Alexis; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his two brothers, John and Clarence Wytas. Funeral services with burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
