Renaud J. Laprise's Obituary
Renaud J. Laprise, 83, of East Hartford, CT, passed away on March 30, 2023. He was born in Ste. Cecile, Quebec, Canada, son of the late Emile and Irene (Mercier) Laprise. He passed away peacefully in his home, whom he shared with his youngest son, Steve. Renaud worked as a machinist until retirement. He was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of Saint Christopher’s Church in East Hartford, CT. His hobbies included cutting firewood, watching and attending NASCAR races, cooking for his family, and working in his garden. He was a social, generous man who valued forming strong relationships with everyone he met. He saw goodness in everyone and encouraged people to continuously do better. He adored his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Renaud is survived by his three children, LuAnn Krepcio and her husband John, Real Laprise and his wife Nathalie, and Steve Laprise; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; four siblings, Jacques Laprise and his wife Lise, Alain Laprise, Michel Laprise and his wife Laura, and Marc Laprise; sister-in-law, Celine Laprise; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandson, Casey White; brothers, Viateur, Renald, and Jean-Guy Laprise; and sister, Lisette (Laprise) Paloczi. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, April 15, 2023 at 10 A.M. at St. Christopher’s Church, 538 Brewer St., East Hartford, CT. Burial will follow in the St. Mary Cemetery Mausoleum, East Hartford, CT. Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., Stafford Springs, CT, has care of the arrangements.
