Renee (Smith) Schneider's Obituary
Renee T. (Smith) Schneider, 48, of Andrews, NC, and formerly of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 15, 2010. She was born in Norway, Michigan, daughter of James and Mary Jean (Giesen) Smith. Renee greatly enjoyed the outdoors, and her horses and dogs. Besides her parents, Renee is survived by her three children, Katie Schneider and her companion Robert Sweeney, Jr. of Enfield, CT, Jessica (Schneider) Lara and her husband Saul of Stafford Springs, CT, and Joshua Schneider of Ellington, CT; a granddaughter, Madeline Sweeney; her former husband of 18 years, Frederick Schneider; four sisters, Gretchen Messer and her husband Jeffrey, Rita Smith, Nicole Smith and her partner Dee Nasri, and Monica Prentiss and her husband Sam; and many nieces and nephews. Her funeral service will be held on Monday, August 23, 2010 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Somers Center Cemetery, Somers, CT. Calling hours are on Sunday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
