Reno Francini's Obituary
Reno Francini, 71, of North Port, FL, and lifelong resident of Stafford Springs, CT, died peacefully November 24, 2010. He was an active member of the Italian Benefit Society, a board member of the Stafford Democratic Town Committee, a board member of the Stafford Recreation Committee, and a past president of Stafford Little League for 25 years. He was also a member of the Stafford Fish and Game Club, St. Edward Parish, and Rev. Felix J. O'Neil Council #1395 Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Sharon (Valery) Francini; two daughters, Elizabeth and Julie Francini; two sisters, Burma Godown and Valerie Foster; grandchildren; great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son, Todd Francini in 2008. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 from 5-7 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Stafford Little League, c/o Keri Rollins-Treasurer, 4 Laurel Dr., Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
