Dear Rheta:
We knew each other since children and your passing is felt deeply. I am so glad that we were able to talk in the last few years during difficult times. Just know that I kept my promise to you as you asked last we spoke in July. As children I loved visiting your mother and playing together as children. My mother and your mother were the best of friends for over fifty years as we knew each other for so many years.
I always admired how nice you dressed and fixed your hair. I remember the bows you made and gave to me for my hair and the walks we used to take when I lived in East Hartford. I remember your father how much he liked me to play the piano for him and your mother's colorful cakes. Rheta, know I am thinking of you and the last we talked you seemed so brave and upbeat and know that you have giving me hope for the future and that I can be as sure of my course in life and face whatever lies ahead.
