I was truly blessed to have had Richard as one of my best freinds. His loss has deeply affected me. Richard was the finest Chef I have ever met. The title Chef truly belong to him. He started the carrers of so many top chefs and he was constantly teaching both the old and the newest cooking techniques. My condolences go out to the Bilyak family. May he rest in peace and enjoy his kitchen in heaven.
To the Bilyak family,You have my sincerest condolences. I valued Richards friendship very much. He would stop by and see me every year when he came to Florida. He was truly a great insperation to me and my staff here at the hotel.
He truly enjoyed working with and teaching people and above all, inspiring us all to be the best we could be. He will truly be missed.

As a salesman for E.A.Tosi, Richard called on me in 1981. From that time we became immediate friends.
Richard was the finest chef in the world! He would share his culinary knowledge and expertise with anyone. I was one of those very fortunate people and for that I will always be grateful.
