Richard P. Callahan's Obituary
Richard P. Callahan, 61, of Willington, CT, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. He was born in Somerville, MA, son of the late John J. and Jean M. (Haker) Callahan. Rick had worked as a machinist up until his retirement. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed fishing, hunting, and bird watching. Above all, he loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Rick is survived by his four siblings, Jack Callahan of Manchester, NH, Janis Pultar and her husband Bill of Pelham, NH, Bob Callahan and Lori Long of Dracut, MA, and Jeanne Giannasca and her husband Tony of Dracut, MA; his former wife, Aileen Devens of Willington, CT; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Monday, August 27, 2018 at 7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to the Town of Willington Food Pantry, Town Office Building, 40 Old Farms Rd., Willington, CT 06279.
