Richard Cunningham's Obituary
Richard T. Cunningham, 87, of Spring St., Manchester, CT, died Saturday, January 31, 2009 at his home. He was the beloved husband of Mary (Gingras) Cunningham for 61 years. Richard was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late John and Anna (Depeau) Cunningham. He graduated from Connecticut State Technical School. Until his retirement in 1981, he was employed in the Engineering Department of Pratt and Whitney Aircraft for 38 years. He was a former member of St. Edward Parish in Stafford Springs, CT and St. Mary Parish in Clinton, CT. Besides his wife, Richard is survived by his three children, Carol Spicer and her husband David of Dresden, ME, Lynda Loose and her husband Robert of West Hartford, CT, and Michael Cunningham and his wife Kimberly of Manchester, CT; three grandchildren, Michael and Courtney Cunningham of Manchester, CT, and Robert Loose of West Hartford, CT; a brother, John Cunningham and his wife Linda of Portland, CT; and numerous nieces and nephews.
