Richard Giannini's Obituary
Richard N. Giannini, 71, of Willington, CT, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2011 at his home. He was born in New Haven, CT, son of the late Nello and Rose (Salvadori) Giannini. Richard retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft having worked as a supervisor/machinist. He was an active member of the Federated Church of Willington, and the Willington Senior Center. Richard is survived by his loving wife, Janice (Thompson) Giannini of Willington, CT; daughter, Barbara Mozeliak and her husband Daniel of Pennsylvania; son, Bryan Giannini and his wife Anna of Pennsylvania; sister, Nora Vetro of North Carolina; two step children, Cheryl LeBlanc of Ashford, CT, and John A. LeBlanc, Jr. of Woodstock, CT; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son, Stephen Giannini. Calling hours are on Thursday, April 21, 2011 from 6-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. His funeral service will be held on Friday, April 22, 2011 at 10 A.M. at the Federated Church of Willington at Willington Hill, corner of Rte. 74 and 320, Willington, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the donor’s choice organization.
