Richard T. Harte Jr.'s Obituary
Richard T. Harte, Jr., 65, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, April 17, 2017. He was born in Springfield, MA, son of the late Richard T. and Eileen (Nichols) Harte. Rick served in the United States Marine Corps during the Vietnam era, and retired as an engineer. He was a member of Stafford Fire Department No. 1, serving as the current president of the organization, and was also an EMT. Rick is survived by his son, John Harte and his wife Angie; his loving partner, Sharri Ennis; three siblings, Michael Harte, Ellen Scott, and Joyce Manarite; his special friend, Dan “Dee” Carr; and several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2017 from 1-3 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A procession will form at 1 P.M. at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 and travel to the Massachusetts Veterans’ Cemetery, 1390 Main St., Agawam, MA where Military Honors and burial will take place at 2 P.M.
