Richard Perdue's Obituary
Richard W. Perdue, 63, of Chatey Rd., Ashford, CT, passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2008 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Manchester, NH, son of the late Harry and Violet (Labonville) Perdue. Richard was a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps during the Vietnam era, and retired as a State Police Officer having been employed by the State of Connecticut. Richard is survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Letty R. Perdue of Ashford, CT; his three daughters and their husbands, Tammy and Michael Marzik of Middletown, CT, Rebecca and Ron Beaucage of Stafford Springs, CT, and Maria and Paul Rivard of Somers, CT; five grandchildren, Jamie, Corey, Adam, Brady-Lee, and Noah; and his sister, Elena Kennedy and her family of Alabama. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2008 at 2 P.M. at St. Philip the Apostle Church, 64 Pompey Hollow Rd., Ashford, CT. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial donations may be made to the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Resource Development, 1275 Peachtree Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30309.
