Richard Turschmann's Obituary
Richard Turschmann, 85, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Virginia (Sheehan) Turschmann, passed away on Friday, April 22, 2011 at Johnson Memorial Hospital, Stafford Springs, CT. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Paul and Minnie (Theising) Turschmann. Rich was a U.S. Navy Veteran of World War II, and retired as a corrections officer from the State of Connecticut. He was also a member of the Italian Benefit Society. Rich is survived by his daughter, Virginia Turschmann; and his sister, Dorothy Danick. Funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
