I was lucky enough to meet Rino in August 2009, just after his return to CT from FL. I provided a one-person audience for Rino on many occasions -- listening to his jokes, his stories from the war, his stories about family and friends in CT and FL. I never left a visit with Rino without a smile on my face and a warm feeling in my heart. I know I am fortunate to have had the pleasure of knowing him for as short a time as I did. Rest in peace my friend.
