Rita T. Larochelle, 83, of East Hartford, CT, passed away on Friday, October 10, 2025 at Hartford Hospital. She was born in St. Gedeon, Quebec, Canada, daughter of the late Arthur and Aurelie (Carrier) Gilbert. Rita is survived by her beloved husband of 54 years, Ghislain Larochelle; two children, Vickie Larochelle and Dean Boivin, and Marc Larochelle and his wife Alicia; four grandchildren, Gabriella, Ethan, Mason, and Landon; two great granddaughters, Elaina and Olivia; seven siblings; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her granddaughter, Adrianna Boivin; and four siblings. Funeral services with burial in Stafford Springs Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
