Robert Bacon's Obituary
Robert E. Bacon of Palm Springs, CA died at home on July 27, 2006. He was born in Milton, MA son of the late Edward and Mary (English) Bacon. Robert was a Navy Corpsman during the Korean War, who also served 16 years in the Army National Guard. He was a loving husband of the late Sheila (Corcoran) Bacon. He was also brother of the late Francis Bacon, Edward Bacon and Mary Broderick. Robert is survived by his brother Jackie Bacon of Quincy, MA; as well as his sons Edward of Palm Springs CA, Christopher of Lakeside, CA, and Stephen of Silver Spring, MD; along with two daughters Stephanie Pippin of Willington, CT and Maureen Geier of Guilderland, NY. He also leaves behind nine grandchildren. A funeral will be held on Friday, November 17, 2006, with a procession forming at 9 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial at Arlington National Cemetery is planned for at a later date. Calling hours are on Thursday from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
