Robert "Bob" J. Corbett's Obituary
Robert “Bob” J. Corbett, 63, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2023 at St. Francis Hospital. He was born in Binghamton, NY, son of Margaret (Mikitka) Corbett of South Abington, PA, and the late Paul J. Corbett. Bob was a graduate of West Genesse High School in Camilus, NY, and graduated from Morrisville College in 1979 as a wood technology major. Bob worked in a Hartford, CT wood working shop for several years, and had a home renovation business with his good friend Budgie Hajosy. He retired after 20 years of work at Connecticut Valley Training School. Besides his mother, Margaret, he is survived by his two daughters, Emily Corbett who is a teacher in Florida, and Kali Corbett who is in the United States Air Force stationed in Oklahoma; his sister, Donna Corbett of Simsbury, CT; several extended family members; and many lifelong friends, friend groups (including high school friends, college friends, the Raquette Lake Wasters and Baisters, work friends, billiards friends, and antiquing friends), as well as many local friends and neighbors. Along with his father, Paul, he was predeceased by his infant daughter, Maggi. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
