Robert Carpenter's Obituary
Robert R. Carpenter, 90, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Esther (Lazarus) Carpenter, passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at Windsor Rehabilitation. He was born in Southbridge, MA, son of the late William and Marjorie (Putney) Carpenter. Bob was a U.S. Army veteran having served during World War II, and retired as an engineer from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Bob is survived by his daughter, Diane Carroll; granddaughter Stacie Irish and her husband Matthew; two great granddaughters, Stella and Amber; a niece; and several nephews. He was predeceased by two brothers, Harold and George; and two sisters, Ruth and Dolly. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 5-7 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2080 Silas Deane Highway, 2nd Floor, Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
