Robert M. Chameroy's Obituary
Robert M. Chameroy, 79, of Ashford, CT, passed away with his family by his side on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Evergreen Health Care Center. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Alfred and Florence (Hess) Chameroy. Bob served in the United States Army, and retired from Finest Edwards as a forklift operator. He was a member of the Teamsters Union Local #559 and the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Stafford Springs, CT. His hobbies included woodworking, ceramics, and going to craft shows. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Judith (Denham) Chameroy; three daughters, Sherri Dorsey, Holly Cote and her fiancé John Howlett, and Bobbi-Jo Wicklund and her husband Peter; four grandchildren, Nichole Heimall, Kimberly Gonzalez, Christopher Wicklund, and Brandon Dorsey; five great grandchildren, Aliyah, Seth, Anthony, Rosie, and Jeremiah; two brothers, Ronald Chameroy and Alfred Chameroy, Jr.; several nieces and nephews; and his loving companion, his dog Teddy. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at 1 P.M. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 79 Crystal Lake Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
