Robert R. DeLisle's Obituary
Robert R. DeLisle, 75, of Stafford, CT, beloved husband of the late Andrea (Cooper) DeLisle, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 3, 2026.
Born in Stafford, CT, he was the son of the late Raymond and Gertrude (Dorsey) DeLisle. Bob spent many years working as a wool processing operator at the former Warren Woolen Company in Stafford, where he was known for his strong work ethic and dedication.
Bob had a remarkable gift for gardening and was known by family and friends for his green thumb. He also enjoyed refinishing furniture, bringing new life to treasured pieces through his craftsmanship and patience. An animal lover throughout his life, Bob found joy in caring for pets and wildlife alike.
Above all else, Bob cherished his family. He took great pride in his daughters and grandchildren and treasured every opportunity to spend time with them, creating memories that will be lovingly remembered for years to come.
He is survived by his three daughters, Patricia DeLisle, Jamie DeLisle and daughter-in-law Becky, and Debbie Colozzi and son-in-law Jon; his eight grandchildren, Nicholas, Michael, Alex, Haley, Leigha, Van, Logan, and Wren; his siblings, Theresa Palozie, Ted Palozie, and Richard Palozie; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife and parents, Bob was predeceased by his sister, Cheryl Bradway.
Family and friends are invited to attend calling hours on Friday, June 5, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A graveside service and burial will follow at 2:30 PM at St. Edward Cemetery, West Stafford Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
