Robert L. Dietz's Obituary
Robert L. Dietz, 78, of North Windham, CT, passed away in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, December 24, 2024. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late William F. and Helen (Hine) Dietz. Bob served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era, and retired from the State of Connecticut as a supervisor. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Bob is survived by his wife of 52 years, Rita (Carrancio) Dietz; two sons, Ryan Dietz and his wife Jillian, and Bryce Dietz and his wife Dinah; 17 grandchildren, Tzietel, Madeline, Xavier, Sophia, Augustine, Zelie, Felicitas, Abigail, Joachim, Gianna, Seamus, Ronan, Ignatius, Edith, Wyllis, Oliver, and Caleb; four siblings, William Dietz, Deborah Selby and her husband Kenneth, Kevin Dietz and his wife Doreen, and Rebecca Litvinchyk; sister-in-law, Roberta Dietz; and many nieces nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond Dietz and Michael Dietz; brother-in-law, Paul Litvinchyk; sister-in-law Winifred Dietz; and nephew, Garrett Dietz. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, December 29, 2024 from 2:00-4:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Monday, December 30, 2024 at 10:00 AM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
