I have been so blessed to have had my grandfather in my life for the past 55 years!! He has been a wonderful influence to me!! My children and my grandchildren knew him well and loved him. We included him in all our family events right up to this past summer when we took him all over Johnson's Pond in our new boat!! He had a ball and so did we…I loved you dearly Grandpa and every 2 weeks when I called you I told you so. You meant so much to me!! Thank you for all your guidance when I was a teenager. You were strict and you helped me make good choices for my life. You are a piece of who I have become. Thank you Grandpa. I would also like to thank my Aunt Suzanne for all she did for my grandfather for the last three years! I cannot think of a more compassionate, caring and kind person to have been the one chosen by God to care for him. Thank you Aunt Suzanne!! I will miss you Grandpa…..I loved you so much!!!! A piece of me is in heaven with you! Goodbye until we meet again….

I have Heard Wonderful Stories and Memories of Family Events About Nana & Grampa's Life! I Refererred to them as Nana & Grampa Though I never met Them Personally ,I felt Endeared in some way by these precious Memories-I am So Sad For The Family But I am Happy For Rob & Doris And Their Son Robert And Also Specky -That is Because I Know That I Know They are in Peace Together In The Place God Had Prepared For Them and Because I Believe -Eye hath not Seen -nor Ear Heard All of The Wonders God Has Kept in Store for those Who Love Him-All That I Have Heard about him ,I Believe I can assuredly Sat this in the Spirit of Truth with complete confidence ,Rob/Grampa Grange Was a Responsible Man who Faithfully Completed his Life Earnestly with utmost Integrity ,He Set a Standard For his Life And He Fullfilled it to the Letter,As A Devoted Husband to Doris, as a Loving and Exemplary Father & Friend For his Sons and Daughter Living by Example, The Principles he Taught to them throughout his life,He was a Wonderful Grandfather that any Child could not help but adore, Patient, Loving and Kind, I Believe He was the Kind Of Man Who lived The Rare Life of an Honorable Word, A Man who Considered others and lived in Way That Earned The Respect and admiration of those He Met, I Believe He was an independant sort of Man That considered his options made his Mind up and once He Spoke his Intentions He Kept his Word making him a Dependable and Loyal Trustworthy Foundation for his Family -and a Friend indeed to those who were Honored to Know him -So It Comes as no Surprise That He had Been Missing Doris his Lifelong Companion A Delightful Wife and Mother to his children .That He Made Up His Mind ,This Christmas He was Going to spend it with Doris-and Sure as was He Kept His Word as he had always Done! My Uncle Rob was one of the kindest and most solid human beings I have known. He set an example on how life should be lived. He loved his family, he worked hard, and gave much. He is now with the Lord and enjoying those that went before him. I loved and respected him. My love and best wishes to his family at this time of great loss.

You want to talk about a legacy you have to start with Great Grandpa Grange and of course the late Nana. I am Robert John Grange IV the youngest in a long line of Robert J. Grange’s and proud to carry my Great Grandpa’s, Grandpa’s and Fathers name. Although the past ten years I have been away serving in the military and haven’t been able to see Great Grandpa as often as I would have liked to he was often topic of conversation amongst my family and friends down here in Florida. The passing of a life is always a sad day for any family but as I sit back these past few days an reflect on the great memories I shared with him I cant help but to crack a smile and picture him at 90 something pulling weeds out of his pond or the time we had Christmas dinner at our house and in the middle of a snow storm at 90 something he drove himself to our house. Needless to say Grandpa never ceased to amaze me. Love you Grandpa. Although it will be difficult I will continue to carry your name with honor and integrity in a way in which would make you proud.

I have so many precious memories growing up with Grampa and Nana. ALL of those family weekends spent with them in Connecticut, camping out by the pond, family and friends, all were always welcome!!! I was so blessed to have had such loving grandparents. Although I feel such a great sadness and loss, I also feel a sense of peace, knowing that they are finally reunited and now will be together forever. You both will be missed and remembered always. I also feel good that you are both there with my Dad now, and knowing that we will all be together again someday. May you all rest in peace, With all my love, your grandson, Scott
