Robert G. Higgins' Obituary
Robert G. Higgins, 75, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, July 27, 2022. He was born in Fort Fairfield, ME, son of Roma (Russell) Higgins and the late Omar Higgins. After 42 years of service as a machinist, Bob retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. He enjoyed being outdoors and going to the beach, going for walks, golfing, and listening to music, especially the Blues. He was also enthusiastic about classic cars and going to car shows. Besides his mother, Bob is survived by his loving wife of 55 years, Candace (Piccin) Higgins; two children, Kimberly Kology and her husband Rick, and Ky Higgins and his wife Jennifer; three grandchildren, Jake, Mia, and Nicholas; two siblings, Jean Hall and her husband David, and Peter Higgins and his wife JoAnne; niece, Pearl; and nephew, Arthur. A calling hour will be held on Friday, August 5, 2022 from 10-11 A.M., with a funeral service to take place at 11 A.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Stafford Public Library, 10 Levinthal Run, Stafford Springs, CT 06076.
