Robert Notman,'s Obituary
Robert B. Notman, Sr., 88, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2009 at Kettle Brook Care Center, East Windsor, CT. He was born in Springfield, MA, son of the late Bruce and Evelyn (Anner) Notman. Robert was a World War II veteran having served in the U.S. Army Air Corps. He also retired as a machinist from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft. Robert is survived by his three daughters, Deborah Irish of Stafford Springs, CT, Wendy Long and her companion David Hemsworth of Holland, MA, and Karin Burns and her husband Paul of Stafford Springs, CT; his son, Robert B. Notman, Jr. of Stafford Springs, CT; three grandchildren, Melanie, Eric, and Andrea; and three great grandchildren, Charles, Ariel, and Lexi. He was predeceased by a son, Bruce Notman. Funeral services with burial in West Stafford Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT, will be held privately.
