Robert W. Pinatti's Obituary
Robert W. Pinatti, 82, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 23, 2017 with his family by his side. He was born in Springfield, MA, son of the late William and Louise (Maffisoli) Pinatti. Bob was a graduate of Windsor Locks schools, and joined the Air National Guard before starting a career in the lumber industry. Eventually, he became the owner and operator of C.H. Moore Lumber Company, which led to a new home construction business, from which he retired in 1995. Bob was a former member of the Stafford Lions Club, and volunteered with Boy Scout Troop 81 and Stafford Little League. His hobbies included fishing, hunting, and training and racing homing pigeons. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Lorraine (Russell) Pinatti; two children, Michael Pinatti and his wife Laura of Willington, CT, and Debbie Salvatore and her husband Gary of Daytona Beach, FL; grandchildren, Thomas, Sarah, and Lisa Pinatti, Jeremy Salvatore and his partner Nicole Fernandez, and Ryan Salvatore; and great granddaughter, Madison Salvatore. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 29, 2017 from 1-3 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 3 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately in St. Mary Cemetery, Windsor Locks, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
