Robert Rummel,'s Obituary
Robert L. Rummel, Sr., 55, of Union, CT, passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 at Rockville General Hospital. He was born in Johnstown, PA, son of Patricia (Fisher) Rummel and the late Theodore Rummel. Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, and anything that involved the outdoors. He was a beloved husband and father that will be greatly missed. Besides his mother, Bob is survived by his loving wife of 29 years, Rosemary (Syphers) Rummel; two sons, Robert L. Rummel, Jr. and Brian T. Rummel; granddaughter, Carolyn Rose; six siblings, Ted Rummel and his wife Cindy, Sherry Rummel, Brenda Rummel, Jim Rummel and his wife Tracy, Kathy Champagne and her husband Joe, and Tim Rummel and his wife Joadi; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law of the Syphers family; many nieces, nephews, cousins; and numerous friends. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life on Saturday, September 22, 2012 starting at 11 A.M. at 21 Patten Rd., Stafford Springs, CT.
