Robert W. Sedlak Jr.'s Obituary
Robert W. Sedlak, Jr., 60, of Ashford, CT, passed away on Thursday, September 30, 2021. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of Rose M. (Hnath) Sedlak and the late Robert W. Sedlak, Sr. Bob retired from the University of Connecticut where he worked in maintenance as a plumber. He was a collector of many things, including books and comics, and was a real history buff. A loving son and brother, Bob is survived by his mother, Rose Sedlak; sister, Roslyn Swift and her husband Jeff; nephew, Zachary Swift; and his former wife and friend, Jean Dean. A calling hour will be held on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 A.M., with a funeral service to take place at 10:00 A.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Westford Hill Cemetery, Ashford, CT. Memorial donations may be made to the Ashford Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 1, Ashford, CT 06278.
