Robert W. Sedlak's Obituary
Robert W. Sedlak, 79, of Stafford Springs, CT, husband of the late Gloria Sedlak, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Albert and Hazel (Heck) Comarella. Bob served our country in the United States Air Force, and retired from Pratt and Whitney Aircraft as a jet engine mechanic. He was also a former member of the Ashford Volunteer Fire Department, former Town Constable in the Town of Ashford, and former Windham County Sherriff. Bob is survived by his two children, Robert W. Sedlak, Jr., and Roslyn Swift and her husband Jeffrey, all of Ashford, CT; grandson, Zachary Swift; aunt, Rose Schofield; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Angeline Satkowski; and brother, Albert “Butch” Comarella. A calling hour will be held on Saturday, May 20, 2017 from 9-10 A.M. with a funeral service to take place at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Stafford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Ashford Volunteer Fire Department, P.O.
