Robert L. Wilson's Obituary
Robert L. Wilson, 83, of Somers, Connecticut, husband of the late Lois (Parsons) Wilson, left us in peace on January 9, 2024. In his early years, he was an editor for the Hartford Courant. He had a strong love for art and nature and spent many years dedicated to landscaping at Butler Corporation. He enjoyed much of his time admiring birds, plants, and trees, and he had a passion for history. He was especially proud of his family and took great pleasure in all of the time spent with each of them. He is survived by his two sons, Mark L. Wilson and Robert S. Wilson and his wife Evelyn, as well as his daughter, Debra Lepore. He was predeceased by his sons, Scott R. Wilson and Charles Bliss. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Mark, Brandon, Liana, Shaina, Kenny, Evin, and Steven, and was recently joyed by the arrival of his great grand-daughter, Lilliana Rose Wilson. He was greatly loved by numerous others around him. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at 1:00 P.M. at Hazardville Cemetery, Elm St., Enfield, CT.
