Rodney A. Jones' Obituary
Rodney A. Jones, 56, of Ashford, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 3, 2015. He was born in Rockville, CT, son of the late Timothy and Mariam (Rousa) Jones. Rodney worked in maintenance for Celeron Square Apartments in Storrs, CT. He was also a stone mason by trade, and enjoyed mining, fishing, and was a New York Giants fan. Above all, he loved his family and cherished the time he was able to spend with them. Rodney is survived by his wife, Sharlene (Cook) Jones; four children, Aaron Harakaly, Kaly Jones, Alan Jones, and Brian Jones; three siblings, Ken Jones and his partner Kathy LaBella, Roseanne Henry and her husband Bill, and Eric Jones and his wife Michelle; sister-in-law, Pat Saunders; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Calling hours will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 from 4-6 P.M. with a funeral service to take place at 6 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the K. Jones Education Fund, c/o People’s United Bank, 1244 Storrs Rd., Storrs, CT 06268.
