Roger D. Rossi's Obituary
Roger D. Rossi, 81, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away on Sunday, September 5, 2021 in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Frank and Edna (Casagrande) Rossi. Roger was a graduate of Windham Technical High School, and retired as the owner of Baker’s Country Furniture after 40 years. He was a proud Trustee at Stafford Savings Bank, and past president of the Stafford Rotary Club. A loving husband, father, and grandfather, Roger is survived by his wife of 62 years, Patricia (D’Amico) Rossi; four children, John Rossi and his wife Patricia, Paul Rossi and his wife Tami, Peter Rossi and his wife Tracy, and Lee Ann Brothers and her husband Jerry; grandchildren, Tim Rossi and his wife Mel, Eric Rossi, Ryan Rossi and his wife Ally, Nathan Rossi, Jenna McDuffee and her husband Shawn, Alexa Rossi, Jason Rossi, Justin Rossi and his wife Patti, Shelby Owens and her husband Blake, Skye Webb, Marita Jacobsen and her husband Tom, Patrick Brothers, and Papa’s beloved, Ellie Brothers; 12 beautiful great grandchildren; two sisters, Lois Murray and Barbara Pierolo; several nieces and nephews; and all his Mill Pond friends he so enjoyed many mornings with. Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 10, 2021 from 9:00-11:00 A.M., with a funeral service to take place at 11:00 A.M., at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT.
