Roger West's Obituary
Roger A. West, 58, of Wales Rd., Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, February 5, 2007. He was born in Stafford Springs, CT, son of the late Herbert A., Jr. and Catharine (Schindler) West. Roger was a self-employed truck driver. He was a member of the Wolcott Lodge No. 60 AF & AM. He greatly enjoyed NASCAR and spending time with his family and friends. Roger is survived by his loving wife 23 years, Sherri L. West of Stafford Springs, CT; three children, Lynn A. Garvais and her husband Richard of Stafford Springs, CT, Matthew A. West of East Windsor, CT, and Jason E. West of Stafford Springs, CT; six grandchildren, Travis, Dalton, Maci, Jodi, Colby, and Shane; a brother, Richard West and his wife JoAnn of Stafford Springs, CT; a sister, Roberta McKinney of Stafford Springs, CT; a sister-in-law, Sandra West of Vernon, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by two brothers, Raymond and Ronald West. A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 1 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in West-Cushman Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Thursday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
