Roger K. Wilson's Obituary
Roger K. Wilson, 89, of Willington, CT, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Leroy and Katherine (Becker) Wilson. Roger served our country in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict, and retired from the State of Connecticut Department of Transportation after 36 years. Roger was a member of the Federated Church of Willington, and the last surviving Charter member of the Willington Hill Fire Department. Roger is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Marlene (Hunter) Wilson; daughter, Deborah Hoskins and her partner Tony; son, David Wilson and his partner Sue; and three grandchildren; Kailey and Jordan Wilson, and Chelsea Hoskins. A graveside service with Military Honors will be held on Tuesday, August 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Willington Hill Cemetery, 171 Tolland Turnpike (Rte. 74), Willington, CT.
