Ronald D. Freeman's Obituary
Ronald D. Freeman, 77, of Ashford, CT passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020 in the comfort of his home. He was born in Manchester, CT, son of the late Everett and Doris (Holmberg) Freeman. Ron worked as a truck driver for Teamsters # 671 for many years. He was also a member of the Eastern Connecticut Sportsman’s Club and the Willington Fish and Game Club. Ron loved to go fishing and spend time at the Fish and Game Club. Being the true giver that he was, he greatly enjoyed gardening, and giving away his vegetables. Ron is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Anna (Johnson) Freeman; two sons, Ralph Freeman and Ray Freeman and his wife Kathleen; his granddaughter, Rachael; and his two cats, Brazen and Bear Bear. He was predeceased by his brother, Everett Freeman; and his step father, Joe Legienza. There will be no funeral services. Memorial donations may be made to the Willington Fish and Game Club, P.O.
