Ronald C. Houle Sr.'s Obituary
Ronald C. Houle, Sr., 83, of Stafford, CT, husband of the late Susan M. (Cahill) Houle, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 3, 2025, with family at his side. He was born in Stafford, CT, son of the late Arthur and Evelina (Collette) Houle. Ron owned his own construction company and was proud to have his sons working by his side. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting, snowmobiling, traveling, and going to the beach. He enjoyed racing cars at Stafford Motor Speedway and Whip City. He prioritized his family and enjoyed spending time with them. A loving and caring father, grandfather, and great grandfather, Ron is survived by three of his children, Ronald C. Houle II and his partner Stephanie Irving, Lynette (Houle) Arruda and her former husband Louie Arruda, and Renee (Houle) Garrahy and her husband T.J., daughter-in-law, Karen (Vaiciulis) Houle; 13 grandchildren, Sawyer, Morgan, Brittney, Louis, Kelley, Connor, Molly, Brigid, Thomas, Michael, Rachael, Taylor, and Nathan; four great grandchildren, Jeremy, June, Louis V, and Nora; brother, Douglas Houle and his wife Patty; many nieces and nephews; several special cousins; and his friends in the ’42 club. He was predeceased by his two sons, Richard, and Arthur Houle; and brother, Henry Houle. A special thank you to his caregiver Kamille who provided outstanding care and compassion for the past several months. His funeral will be held on Thursday, October 9, 2025, with a procession forming by 10:00 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Wednesday, October 8, 2025, from 5:00-7:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
