Ronald G. 'Tiny' Lavoie, Sr., 69, of Kelly Rd., Vernon, CT, passed away on Tuesday, August 5, 2008 at Rockville General Hospital, Rockville, CT. He was born in Hartford, CT, son of the late Alfred, Sr. and Grace (Bohacik) Lavoie. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. Tiny is survived by his beloved wife of 26 years, Carol A. (Pisciotta) Lavoie of Vernon, CT; his three children, David Lavoie and his wife Katherine of Ellington, CT, Ronald Lavoie, Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Stafford Springs, CT; and Cheryl Petruzzi of Massachusetts; six step children; 15 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; three brothers, Donald Lavoie of Coventry, CT; Alfred Lavoie, Jr. and his wife Arlene of Manchester, CT, and Elie Lavoie and his wife Kathy of North Carolina; a sister, Geraldine St. Marie and her husband Barry of Stafford Springs, CT; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by a sister, Deanna Foucher. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Staffordville Cemetery, Staffordville, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
