To the Vogel family-
Having just learned of this unfortunacy, I extend my sincerest condolences of the passing of your father and relative, RONALD W VOGEL. Our father/stepfather, Patrick Riel (1931-2020) worked with Ronnie dating back to the early 1950s at the Connecticut DOT facility in Union, which both were newly discharged veterans and road maintainers. Pat and Ronnie had a great respect for each other and when Pat relocated to nearby Ellington, CT, during the final years of his life, he reconnected and shared alot of work stories plowing roads, setting guardrails, digging catch basins and of the comraderie road crews had between garages regionally. I was intending to visit Ronnie after Pat Riel passed away in 2020 from the pandemic, which the way we continue to live and being cautious visiting others, it didn't permit myself to do so. May Ronnies service to his family, community, state and nation be never forgotten. Respectfully submitted-

Linda, my deepest condolences. I was saddened to hear of your dad. Although it had been some time since i saw him last, i remember him well. Certainly a great man. Remember always the good & happy times with him as you strive to move forward. Remember too that he now is able to be with your mom & Shelly once again. It's hard to lose any loved one, but when we do, we hope they are now in a better place, a place of peace. God bless. Steve Tulis
