Irene K Peterson
I enjoyed my weekly visits with Aunt Rose over the four years she was at Evergreen. We would sometimes talk about the past and I told her more than once that my brother and I always looked for her box of cookies at Christmas; our favorite present. She was always so thankful for anything Fran and I did for her. I really especially admired her lifelong commitment to God and His church. It was disappointing to not be able to celebrate her 99th birthday in person, but I hope she was able to enjoy the floral birthday cake we sent to her. We were surprised and pleased that she survived the virus last year. I'm very glad she didn't have to suffer long this time.
