Rose Schofield's Obituary
Rose (Sedlak) Schofield, 98, formerly of Willington, CT, wife of the late George L. Schofield, Jr., passed away on Monday, October 30, 2023 at Evergreen Health Care Center. She was born in Union, CT, daughter of the late John and Susan (Pavlik) Sedlak. Rose had worked in admitting, the telephone switch board and as a volunteer at Johnson Memorial Hospital for many years. She was a parishioner of St. Edward Church, as well as a member of the Willington Senior Center. Rose is survived by her daughter, Sheila Schofield; grandchildren, Francis Malinosky and his wife Robin, and Valerie Dodge and her husband Adam; great grandchildren, Christopher Malinosky–Rummell, and Andrew Dodge; and numerous family members and friends. She was predeceased by three children, Scott Edward Schofield, Patricia Malinosky, and Roger Schofield. A calling hour will be held on Friday, November 3, 2023 from 10:30-11:30 AM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 PM at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
