Ruth M. Palacko's Obituary
Ruth (Mann) Palacko, 86, of Stafford Springs, CT, wife of the late John A. Palacko, who died in 2006, passed away at Evergreen Health Care Center on August 7, 2016. Ruth and John had been married for 53 years at the time of his death. Ruth was born in Monson, MA, on January 24, 1930, daughter of the late Eugene and Eva (Goboury) Mann of Palmer, MA. Prior to her retirement, Ruth was employed by North American Printed Circuits. Ruth is survived by her two brothers, Donald Mann of Palmer, MA and George Mann of Vermont. She is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Fred Corey, Sr. of Palmer, MA and Edward Palacko, Sr. of Stafford Springs, CT; two sisters-in-law, Amelia Gavine and Mary Palacko of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, John, she was predeceased by her son, Robert Palacko in 1987; her brother, Francis Mann; and sister, Helen Corey. Ruth was a member of St. Edward Church and Court Isabella #785 Catholic Daughters of America. She was also a member of the Staffordville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and the VFW Post No. 9990 Ladies Auxiliary. A calling hour will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2016, from 9:30 – 10:30 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. at St. Edward Church, 55 High St., Stafford Springs, CT.
