I just heard of Ruth's passing and am very saddened by the news. We went to school together....fellow "Ashfordites".....and I have many happy memories of our time together in Ashford Elementary School, as it was called in our day. I remember her as being happy and kind. I know she will be missed by many.
I did not know Ruthie personally but only through my precious friend Betty. My sympathy and condolences go out to all the family. So hard to lose a loved one, and sibling.

So sorry for the loss. I did not know Ms. Ruth personally, but indirectly got to know her through conversations at work with her loving sister, Betty. In conversation I had the pleasure of getting to know Ms. Ruth, and the beautiful person she was. May God provide you peace and comfort during this difficult time.
Claudia, I didn't know your sister but the passing of a sibling is heartbreaking. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. I hope many happy memories of Ruth and your lives together give you strength to move forward.

When I was having a bad day at work, Ruthie would just give me that look, like "I'm going to hug you now, and you will feel better." And she did. And I did. Every time she hugged me, I always felt things settle. Ruthie, I love you, and miss you. Rest now, friend.

Ruthie and i go back so far it is hard to remember her not being a part of the family. To all our parties in high school our family gatherings when you kids were so small and all our cherished memories, the will be missed.
