Sally Grenier's Obituary
Sally A. Grenier, 68, of Stafford Springs, CT passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, January 5, 2010. She was born in Stafford Springs, CT, daughter of the late Arthur R. and Florence M. (Jacobsen) Rose. She was the owner of Sissy’s Place and was a member of St. Edward Parish. Sally is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Dawn M. (Grenier) Bassett and her husband Donald R.; two grandchildren, Brittany M. and Matthew J. Bassett, all of Willington, CT; five sisters, Roberta Trapp, Arlene Zelonka and her husband Jacob, Mary Carberry, all of Stafford Springs, CT, Diane Williams and her husband Tom of Windsor Locks, CT, and Lynn Wheeler and her husband Roger of Ellington, CT; one uncle, Douglas Rose and his wife Laura of Stafford Springs, CT; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by a son, Norman J. Grenier; a brother, Richard Rose; a nephew, Jeffrey Zelonka; and two brothers-in-law, Richard Trapp and Richard Carberry. Her funeral will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 with a procession forming by 12 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 P.M. at St. Edward Church, High St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT. Calling hours are on Friday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
