Samantha A. Shegogue's Obituary
Samantha A. Shegogue, 54, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 29, 2026. She was born in Hartford, CT, the beloved daughter of Ralph and Shirley (Barnes) Shegogue.
Known to family and friends as Sam, she was a kind, generous, and compassionate soul who was always willing to help anyone in need. A devoted animal advocate, Sam was a longtime volunteer at Our Companions Animal Sanctuary, where her love for animals and commitment to their care shone brightly. She was also a wonderful cook who found great joy in preparing meals for those she loved. Sam cherished time spent at the beach and found peace and happiness by the ocean.
In addition to her parents, Ralph and Shirley Shegogue, Sam is survived by her sister, Sonya Shegogue; her niece, Cassandra Orszulak and her husband Tyler; her nephew, Beau Weed and his wife Danielle; and her cherished great-nieces and great-nephew, Amelia, Colton, Mallory, and Kennedy.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, February 3, 2026, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, with a funeral service immediately following at 2:00 PM at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main Street, Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be private at St. Edward Cemetery, Stafford Springs, CT.
