Samuel McLeod's Obituary
Samuel Victor McLeod, 26, of Stafford Springs, CT, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. He was born in Meriden, CT, son of Frank H. and Barbara (Achino) McLeod. Sam worked as a sheet metal worker for the sheet metal worker’s local 40. He was a member of the Stafford Springs Congregational Church. He was also an avid Harley enthusiast. He was a very caring person and touched many people’s lives. Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Krystle (Yelle) McLeod; his parents, Frank and Barbara McLeod; three sisters, Heather Colton, Maghan McLeod, and Mary Keeler; paternal grandmother, Mable Williams; father-in-law and mother-in-law, John and Beverley Yelle; sister-in-law, Victoria Yelle and her fiance David Meagher; his best friend, Steve Syphers; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends; and his three dogs, Harley, Abby, and Noel, and two cats, Lucky and Trent. He was predeceased by a sister, Sherry Mangiofico. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, February 6, 2011 from 5-8 P.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. His funeral service will take place on Monday, February 7, 2011 at 5 P.M. at the Stafford Springs Congregational Church, 3 Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will be in In Memoriam Cemetery, Wallingford, CT. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Connecticut Humane Society, 701 Russell Rd., Newington, CT 06111.
