Sandra Joyal's Obituary
Sandra F. Joyal, 64, of Lucerne Dr., Willington, CT, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, April 23, 2010 after her courageous year long battle with cancer. She was surrounded by love with her family at her side. She was born in West Warwick, RI, daughter of the late Frank W. and Leona A. (Styga) Kusiak. Sandi last worked as an assistant manager for Ann & Hope. She was a member of the Italian American Friendship Club in Tolland. She also enjoyed camping at Lake Champlain, and was an avid angler. A loving wife and mother, Sandi lived her life to the fullest. She is survived by her husband, Leo J. Joyal of Willington, CT; her two sons, Kevin A. Joyal and his wife Laurie, and Christopher A. Joyal and his wife Melissa, all of Enfield, CT; a granddaughter, Ashley D’Aquila; and her sister, Mary Jane Helgerson and her husband Lee of Oregon. Sandi will be missed by her friends and family alike. Her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at 10 A.M. at Introvigne Funeral Home, Inc., 51 East Main St., Stafford Springs, CT. Burial will follow in Willington Hill Cemetery, Willington, CT. Calling hours are on Tuesday from 5-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
